WALL → TABLE → CHAOS.
Pingers is a fast, brutal, close-quarters racket sport where two players stand face-to-face with a wall, a table, and each other — and smash.
The table is pushed flush against a wall. The net is pushed flush against the wall. From there, it's wall → table → chaos. Players slice, drive, scramble, and react at point-blank range as the ball rockets back and forth.
It's simple to set up. Easy to start. Very hard to stop playing.

OFFICIAL RULES v1.0
NOT THAT KIND OF PINGERS. (WELL, MAYBE.)
OBJECTIVE
Ball must hit the wall → rebound → land on the table in bounds. Fail this sequence and the point is lost.
SCORING
Games to 21 points. Must win by 2. No maximum cap. (22-20, 23-21, etc.)
THE SETUP
Table and net FLUSH against the wall. Solid wall surface. Three-star balls only.
SERVING
Serve: table → wall → table → play. 5 serves each, swap sides every 10 serves.
SECOND SERVE
If serve hits net or doesn't land on table, you get one second serve. Miss it? Point to opponent.
FOULS
Net contact at any time. Volleying before bounce. Double bounce. Illegal serve. All instant points to opponent.
SPECIAL PLAYS
Roof shots are legal if ball returns to table. Side-table hits are legal — called "sneaks."
THE CODE
Players call their own fouls. No arguing — if in doubt, play on. The wall is the final authority.
FROM SOUTHAMPTON TO SYDNEY
THE HISTORY OF PINGERS
THE BIRTH
9 Belmore Road, Southampton, England
Luke "The Mongoose" McGarian, freshly moved in, pushes the ping pong table against the wall during a quiet weekend alone. Drawing on experience from badminton, tennis, table tennis, and squash, he discovers something deeper — a rhythm, a challenge, a game. Pingers is born.
THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Southampton, UK
16 players. All with nicknames. Filmed and documented. Pure chaos. Rupert "The Gentleman" Lane takes the crown, defeating The Mongoose in a tight, controversial final. The game hits its competitive peak.
THE UK ERA ENDS
United Kingdom
Life scatters the players. The original chapter closes. But Pingers never really stopped existing — it was just waiting.
THE AUSTRALIAN REVIVAL
Australia
The Mongoose builds a dedicated "Ping & Stable" in his garage — a folding, purpose-built setup. First unofficial tournament: 8 players. The Mongoose defeats Rico "Hero Dose" Solo for the championship. The second era begins.
